Mobile Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Developer to help build modern, scalable, and user-centric cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. This role is hands-on, working within the technical direction set by the mobile lead. You will take ownership of features, grow your craft alongside experienced engineers, and see your work through to release. The ideal candidate is curious, delivery-focused, and keen to build polished mobile experiences in complex, data-driven environments.

What you’ll do

• Develop, test, and debug features for cross-platform mobile applications.
• Take features from ticket to release — implementation, testing, and support.
• Build screens and components against agreed designs, using the team's shared component library.
• Follow the team's architecture, state management patterns and coding standards, and ask when something isn't clear.
• Integrate with backend REST APIs, handling authentication, loading, offline and error states properly.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit and widget/component) as a normal part of delivery.
• Participate in code reviews — both giving feedback and acting on it.
• Write clear technical documentation and design notes on Confluence.
• Participate in daily, weekly and monthly team ceremonies and planning.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on mobile development experience.
• Working knowledge of Flutter and Dart, or React Native and TypeScript, with a willingness to work in either.
• Experience contributing to a production mobile application published on the App Store or Google Play.
• Good understanding of mobile architecture patterns and state management (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, Redux, or equivalents).
• Solid grounding in clean code principles and building reusable UI components.
• Experience with RESTful API integration.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Comfortable with Git, branching workflows and Agile delivery.
• Delivery-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn from feedback.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
