Senior Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Front-End Lead Engineer to drive the development of modern, scalable, and user-centric web applications across our digital banking and fintech solutions. This role combines strong hands-on development expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding front-end engineers and ensuring high-quality, performant, and accessible user interfaces. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean architecture, design systems, and delivering seamless user experiences in complex, data-driven environments.

What you’ll do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of front-end applications across multiple projects.
• Define and enforce front-end architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Mentor, coach, and manage front-end engineers, supporting their growth and performance.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI, Product, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive the adoption and evolution of design systems and reusable UI components.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and services.
• Oversee code reviews, technical decisions, and quality assurance processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2–3 years in a lead role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, NgRx, etc.).
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
